Neal Newman

Neal Newman's 25-year professional background encompasses international work in government, non-profit organisations and the private sector. Newman's core experience is in organisational leadership and development, corporate partnerships, orchestrating major gifts campaigns, and leading multi-party urban renewal/community economic development strategies. Throughout his career, Newman has secured over €70,000,000 in funding for non-profit organisations and international charities in the United States and in Europe. Newman is a member of EU Consult and a panel member of the Special EU Programmes Board.
Newman has directed feasibility studies and major gifts campaigns at the Chester Beatty Library, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the Irish Management Institute, the National College of Ireland, Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland, Amnesty International (Ireland), Imaginosity! and a number of other socially progressive organisations.
Newman is a graduate of Michigan State University's James Madison College (1979) and holds a Master's in Urban and Environmental Policy from Tufts University in Boston (1990), along with an advanced certification from Roosevelt University (Chicago) in Community Economic Development Finance.
